How kind of you to send those additional NameCards.  I cannot tell you how special it was for me, with my unusual Japanese name, to have something personalized!  It was one of those funny, childhood disappointments ... and I was always compelled to look for my name with that "hope."  :-)  You gave me that 'illusive' dream as a dream come true.

I had been looking for name meaning cards for several months. I specifically wanted CHRISTIAN cards, which are very hard to find these days! While searching the web, I came across this site and knew immediately I had found the right place. I needed 5 different names, and I needed 4 of each one. The pricing was extremely reasonable, especially when ordering by the dozen. I called the number and explained my situation. I was making life story scrapbooks for my mother and two sisters (and of course one for myself!) I felt adding the Christian meaning of each of our names would be, not only unique, but a way that I could express the love that I was feeling for each as I made their scrapbook. The NameCards were a real blessing to our family. We placed the names of the children on their room doors, and I placed the magnets on the refrigerators, so we are constantly reminded of our meanings behind our names.

I'm getting this for my Sweetheart. I have waited 30 years for God to bring me a girl like Angela. Even in my own mind I couldn't have picked out someone more perfect for me than her. She is amazing to me and I am in love with her! The Bible verse on the plaque is her favorite scripture in the Bible. She told me a few weeks ago she actually just memorized these 4 verses that I am getting on the plaque. I've recieved the bookmarks. Thank you so much for your attentiveness, as well as the generosity. I'm praying that they are a well recieved gift for this family that is very dear to me, and perhaps an avenue for softening dialogue regarding faith. As with so many people, they've been victimized by "religiosity" via certain unstable family members for most of their lives, and as a result have withdrawn from anything that reminds them of the counterfits they've encountered. I haven't known where to begin or how to keep my genuine concern for them from being percieved as pushy evangelism, but I've felt sure that cards with their name meanings would be one of the least threatening things I could do for a conversation piece. Thusly, I'd spent a good year searching every Christian and novelty store I could find trying to find them, until I finally resorted to searching online. It may seem like a small thing, but I've always felt that names are very significant. God had the habit of re-naming people throughout the scriptures as he opted to use them. Abraham, Sarah, Jacob, and the Apostle Paul come to mind off the top of my head. Names obviously bare a great significance to the Lord, so it seems to me they should be significant to me as well. I do appreciate your ministering in this area.
